The workshop format.
In the Design Sprint Accelerator workshop, participants embark on a journey following the proven Google Design Sprint methodology, tailored to either a four or five-day format:
Understand and Define
Participants start by gaining a deep understanding of the problem or challenge at hand through research, data analysis, and stakeholder interviews. They then define the core problem statement and identify key objectives and success metrics for the sprint.
Diverge
Participants engage in divergent thinking exercises to generate a wide range of potential solutions to the problem.
Decide
Through a series of structured exercises like dot voting and decision-making frameworks, participants prioritize the most promising ideas and converge on a solution to prototype.
Prototype
Teams rapidly create a realistic prototype of their solution, using a range of tools and materials to bring their ideas to life.
Test
Finally, participants conduct user testing sessions to gather feedback on their prototypes, validating assumptions and identifying areas for improvement.
Throughout the workshop, the facilitator provides guidance and support, ensuring that teams stay on track and make the most of the sprint process. By the end of the workshop, participants leave with validated prototypes, actionable insights, and a clear path forward for implementation, ready to drive meaningful change and innovation in their organizations.
