Techtok Missies
A browser game that teaches kids to think like a product designer: spot what's broken, design a fix, build it.
Kids are fluent users of technology. Almost nobody teaches them to question it.
Children today use apps all day, but they're rarely taught to shape technology, or to notice when something is badly designed, let alone to imagine how it could work better.
Primary-school children and their families, reached two ways: through schools, where teachers can run the lessons in class with no prep, and directly at home, where kids can keep playing on their own. Built for limited time and no logins, in a workshop, a classroom, or on a kid's own device.
By the end of a session, a child has looked critically at a real product, built something small themselves, and can name the three moves: discover, design, build. Playful, gameful and confidence-building rather than test-like, enough to hook a kid into wanting to keep going after the lesson ends.
Runs in any browser on a standard device, school or home. No accounts, no logins, no personal data collected. Short enough for a single class period or a spare half hour. Dutch-language first.
The method, pitched at a ten-year-old
A chaptered game, "missies", that walks a child from spotting design problems in apps they already know, through sketching a better version, to assembling a working screen. The structure mirrors the same Context → Goals → Constraints thinking behind the product itself, just at a ten-year-old's level.
The gameplay loop is simple: see a scenario, choose an action, see the consequence, learn from it.
One product, two jobs: a zero-prep lesson for schools, and a self-directed game for kids who want more.

Live at techtok.me. Schools get a ready-to-run lesson a teacher can hand to a class with zero preparation. Kids who want more get a way to keep playing and building skills on their own, outside the classroom.
