Triptoi
The family trip planner for iPhone. Collect ideas together, build a day-by-day route, and share a beautiful trip overview with anyone, on any device, no account needed.
My family shared dozens of links, and I couldn't see any of it
Planning a trip together, we were sending each other links all day: hotels, restaurants, things to do, places on Google Maps. They piled up in the chat and got lost. I couldn't see what was where, or what the trip was even starting to look like.
What if all those shared links became one plan, on a map, that everyone could see and add to?
Families and friends planning a trip together, each with their own "I want to go here". They want to see the shape of the trip, and share the final plan with anyone, no account.
Every idea in one place. Turned into a day-by-day route on a map with real driving times and distances. And a share link that looks good enough to actually send around.
iPhone-first. Paste links straight from WhatsApp. Trips are link-only by default, not indexed, not public. Cached for offline viewing once opened.
Every idea, on one map
Save places from Google Maps, add photos, notes and links, and paste shared links straight from WhatsApp. Tap ideas into a day-by-day route and Triptoi calculates the driving times, the distances, and a live polyline on the map.
The trip stays cached for offline viewing, so you can check the itinerary in a car park with no signal.
One link, beautiful on any device
Triptoi generates a self-contained overview page: inline styles, photos embedded, small enough to load anywhere. Anyone can open it on Android, iOS or desktop with no login. Link-only by default, not indexed, not public.
The share page was the hard part. Collecting ideas and drawing a route is well-trodden; a page that's genuinely nice to receive, works offline, and stays private is where the real design work went.
Coming to the App Store. The web side, where you open a shared trip, is already live on triptoi.com.
Add triptoi.com to your home screen and shared trips work like a native app.
App on the way, sharing already working
The iPhone app is heading for the App Store. The overview pages it generates already run on triptoi.com, and can be installed as a PWA on Android or desktop. Optional password protection for trips is next.
